CREAMY CHEESY PASTA - A delicious, fast, last minute dish that everyone will love.
2 cups UNCOOKED pasta in the shape of your choice
3/4 cup frozen vegetable (peas or corn work well)
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup butter or margerine
salt and pepper to taste
Cook the pasta in boiling water until tender. Just before draining, add the frozen veggie to the boiling water and stir for a minute. Drain well and return to the pot. Stir in butter until melted. Add the cheese gradually, stirring. Then stir in the soup, salt and pepper. Serves 4.
This can be a whole meal by itself by just adding some leftover cooked chicken or ham. Delicious!
